How knockout brackets work

A knockout bracket pairs entries in rounds until one champion remains. RacketLive generates the tree based on your entry count and seeds from group results when using Group + Playoffs.

When a match is completed, the winner can advance to the next round slot automatically. Finals and optional third-place playoffs are supported.

For spectators, the public Draws tab shows the same bracket with live status badges for pending, live, and completed matches.
